James Cameron (1827-1905) was a Presbyterian Clergyman in New South Wales, Australia. Born in Scotland he was ordained in 1853 and sent out to New South Wales where he arrived in November that Year. He rose high in the Church hierarchy but his other passions were education and history. His other books are My Two Servants or Incidents in the Earlier Years of My Ministry in Australia (Edinburgh, 1867) and a massive study of the Presbyterian Church titled Centenary History of the Presbyterian Church in New South Wales (Sydney, 1905)
